FAMILY EVENT suitable for primary age: Craft Club’s knitted cinema event will premier our specially commissioned short animated film that explores the wild and wonderful world of knitting. Come along, be inspired and have a go yourself with the help of skilled crafters.

Craft Club is a national scheme that champions Craft in schools and communities.

Crafts Council Craft Club



The Crafts Council is the national development agency for contemporary craft. The Participation and Learning Team initiates innovative learning programmes to develop new and diverse audiences for craft one of which is Craft Club. Craft Club is a national programme that supports the development of after-school and community Craft Clubs in the UK. The Craft Club programme is supported by the UK Hand Knitting Association (UKHKA) and the National Federation of Womens’ Institutes (NFWI). Arts Council England (ACE) is supporting an additional programme of work as part of its Arts Nation project.
